Vinted Shoppers Express Displeasure Over Size Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused products showing incorrect sizing.
The second-hand shopping app has altered its sizing categories for women's and children's clothes but did not contact all users about the change.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
It has advised users to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Updates
Before the change, the sizes had both one number and one letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
Shopper Stories
One content creator, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they may become frustrated," she explained.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizes on "every single listing".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Marketplace Information
The service features exceeding 100 million shoppers, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change to the app has proved unpopular: previously, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
